This was a very different story, complex and very enjoyable. It took me awhile to grasp the concept but once I did, I couldn't put the book down.The futuristic story of a divided world and the people determined to change it for the better. Good strong characters in Chris, Jay & Leigh with my favorite being the dual character of Creed/Nick. At times I had to re-read a sentence or two to pickup the nuance of this situation, but it didn't lessen the enjoyment. This was a different kind of tale, thrilling and anxious at times with occasional sarcastic and humorous dialogue (especially between Creed/Nick). There were also words of warning of what could happen in the future if......
Excellent theme, good story, nice conclusion;

Twists and turns galore. Who's a copy ,who's real and why do I smell champagne?
Great read. Read in one afternoon,unfortunately. Wish the story continued. !!!
The author has done a great job of making her characters real, while spinning out her story. I do have one major complaint, though. There isn't a book 2 or 3 or more!!!! I am loving this book but don't want to finish it. It is hard to find well-written, clean science fiction, but this one fits the bill. Now if she will only write some more to go with it!
I loved the concept of this novel. A brilliant idea and although the writer has room to grow, it is a great read for the price. Like other readers, I thought the ending was abrupt and rushed. I felt like the author did not know how to close the story except somehow tie it up in a neat bow. But again the plot is interesting and intriguing and does make up for a bad ending.
The premise for this book is interesting, and the story itself was ok, but it really needed a couple things...namely, a copy-edit and formatting for the kindle. A more extensive round of editing would have helped too, but at a minimum it needed to have the typos and grammar fixed. It frequently pulled me out of the story, along with the weird formatting. The "surprise" ending seemed a bit disjointed, but at least the most annoying character in the book got what was coming to him.
In the future you can live forever and even reprogram your personality up to five times but only if you are rich or connected. A small but growing band of rebels wants to prevent the government from using this technology to exert total control. The mastermind is brilliant old soul. She enlists another genius, the inventor of personality modification, and uploads him into the body of a lethal assassin. It's nonstop action and adventure as this band of brothers, and sisters, work against the clock and uncooperative government enforcers to build a better future for their families.
I Loved this book! What a roller coaster ride! The characters keep getting killed off and their personalities saved and inserted into another "blank". The blanks are supposedly the person's own clone but there's a bunch of shady stuff going on. To expose it, a group of brave folks come up with a very complicated plot. So complicated that I didn't figure it out and had to wait until the story explained it! It was great!
While stories about cloning are hardly original, the story told in 5 Blanks is a carefully crafted thrill ride. The author never gives away the direction the story is headed and keeps the tempo going all the way to the end. Nick/Creed is fun protagonist due to the constant arguments he has with himself throughout the story. Chris the supporting character stays just mysterious enough to keep her at the forefront of the story without trampling all over the Nick/Creed persona and wondering just what she is up to. This offering has been a real page turner that kept me reading into the wee hours of the morning and quickly returned to after a brief snooze. Best of all the price is right for any budget (free at moment) so do yourself a favor and grab it before it gets away.
